March 30th Country Statements on New UN Gender Entity

The new Co-chairs on System-wide Coherence, the Ambassadors of Spain and Namibia, convened informal consultations on System-wide Coherence on March 30th. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the Secretary General’s paper on institutional options for the new gender entity at the UN. Read the country statements here:

GGCA’s Call to Action

The Global Gender and Climate Alliance (GGCA) calls governments and international organizations to urgent action, to commit to an outcome agreement this year, and to include human security and social components—particularly gender. This Call to Action was disseminated at this year’s 53rd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
