CSD 18: Commission on Sustainable Development

New York, April 30, 2010 – The 18th Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD 18) will be held from May 3rd to 14th, 2010 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The CSD is one of the most important forums within the UN to address the environment and sustainable development. WEDO will be, as always, an active participant. Women and Sustainable Development Panel Featuring Eleanor Blomstrom

She was a colleague and ally of WEDO and gender and climate change work through the Women Delegates Fund (WDF). While her unexpected passing is tragic news for her family, friends, colleagues and the countless women to whom she dedicated her work, we can admire the enormous positive contribution she made to her community, her country and women around the world.
