Establishing a set of global norms and standards by which all corporations must abide is the key to stopping corporate abuse of women’s rights and livelihoods and the environment.
WEDO has been very proud to work with a growing alliance—including the ESCR-Net Corporate Accountability Working Group — laying the groundwork for national and global campaigns that will strengthen and create the policy and governmental structures needed for corporate accountability.
WEDO brings a woman’s voice to this alliance by making sure that a gender perspective is an intrinsic part of the corporate accountability effort.
