Cancun, Mexico– On Saturday, November 27th, sixty government delegates, representing twenty-nine countries from all regions of the world participated in the updating session on new dimensions of gender and climate change in Cancun, Mexico. This session was an initiative of the GGCA (Global Gender and Climate Alliance).

Climate Change is hitting harvests and putting the poorest people at risk. Establishing a new fair global climate fund at COP16 will not only help developing countries adapt to the changing climate and adopt low carbon development pathways, but also help rebuild trust in the negotiations.
