Outcomes of the UNFCCC meeting in Bonn, April 9-11
New York, April 15, 2010 — WEDO representatives Sandra Freitas and Eleanor Blomstrom attended the UNFCCC negotiating sessions in Bonn from 9-11 April. The goal of the session was to determine the organization of work for both Ad hoc Working Groups: Long-term Cooperative Action and the Kyoto Protocol.
Parties agreed to hold 2 more meetings of the working groups, after the upcoming SB32 session in Bonn (31 May – 11 June) and prior to the COP-16 in Cancun, Mexico (29 November – 10 December). Additionally, Parties agreed that the Chair of each working group would draft negotiating text…
