Celebration of Women’s Leadership at Rio+20

Thursday, June 7th, 2012

[ June 20, 2012; 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. ] This celebration will be in memory of Marie Khan of the CBD Secretariat. We will award 10 women leaders for their leadership roles over the last 10 years. Awardees will represent diverse regions as well as levels of engagement, bringing voices together from the grassroots and highest national and international political levels. Invitees – The celebration will bring together over 100 “friends” of the co-hosts and award recipients, including high-level gender stewards and media representatives.
