New York, March 5 — A longstanding proposal for the much awaited reform of the UN Gender Equality Architecture (GEAR) is moving at a slower pace than many women gathered at CSW-54 had hoped. Civil society and women’s groups cannot wait any longer and call on Member states to establish the promised women’s agency now.
