WEDO delivers Intervention at COP16 on behalf of Women and Gender Consituency
Cancun, Mexico- On Monday, November 29th at the opening session of the AWG-LCA (Ad hoc Working Group on Long Term Cooperative Action), WEDO’s Rachel Harris delivered an intervention on behalf of the Women and Gender Consituency. The statement stressed the importance of coming to a consensus on the most critical issue of our time and ensuring gender dimensions are taken into account throughout all areas of the negotiations.
