Women and Sustainable Development Panel Featuring Eleanor Blomstrom
New York, April 30, 2010 — Eleanor Blomstrom, Sustainable Development and Climate Change Coordinator, will speak on a panel entitled “Women and Sustainable Development”, held by the International Steering Committee of the United Nation’s Civil Society Development Forum. The panel is part of the NGO preparations for the United Nations Economic and Social Council’s review of international development goals, with specific attention to gender equality and women’s empowerment. The panel will take place on Tuesday, May 4th at 3:15-4:45pm.
