SIGN ON: Support S.47, the “Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013”

NEW YORK (February 4th, 2013)-- Today, in a letter circulated by The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, WEDO joined 80 national organizations in demanding full support and passage of S.47, the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, and to vote against any amendments that would weaken this important legislation, including any amendments to impose mandatory minimum sentences for aggravated sexual abuse.
